Our Commitment to

R&D and Innovation

In 2024, amidst a challenging economic environment, the company recognizes that innovation and research and development (R&D) are crucial for survival and growth in the highly competitive market. To navigate these challenges and stay ahead, we have focused on continuous innovation in our processes and R&D efforts.

Application of Innovative New Technologies

We have introduced new processes such as the rotary kiln reduction of iron oxide and electric arc furnace smelting of powder high-iron raw materials. These innovations have, to some extent, transformed the traditional smelting methods of brown corundum. Our workers have successfully mastered the operating procedures, meeting the requirements of the new technologies.

In 2024, we developed a new mixed bauxite smelting process for brown corundum, which has already been applied in production. This process further improves efficiency and quality, driving our company’s position in the industry forward.

Strengthening R&D Team Development

The company currently employs 20 individuals with a college degree or higher, most of whom were recruited from outside the region. Given the complexity of the smelting mechanism of brown corundum, there is an urgent need for passionate, skilled professionals, particularly undergraduate and master’s degree graduates from related fields, to join our efforts.

In 2024, through a collaborative project with Taiyuan University of Technology, we accelerated the development of our R&D team with the support of talent from academic institutions. This collaboration enhances our technical expertise, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of innovation in the brown corundum industry.

Our Future Plans

Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement
Currently, the domestic bauxite used by our company is costly, with long transportation distances and low stock levels, posing a risk of supply interruptions. Increasing the proportion of imported bauxite and adopting new smelting processes will be effective methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Thermal Energy Recovery
The amount of thermal energy wasted during the production of brown corundum is substantial. After reaching temperatures over 2,000°C, the brown corundum needs to be cooled to room temperature for subsequent processes like crushing. Additionally, a large amount of high-temperature gas is emitted during the smelting process. By recovering and utilizing this thermal energy, the production cost of brown corundum can be significantly reduced. Currently, thermal energy recovery technology is quite mature and offers an excellent opportunity for cost savings.
